How to Make Sweet Maple Popcorn

Using Bullseye Popcorn Premium Supplies

A true Canadian treat! Sweet, golden maple syrup meets fresh, fluffy popcorn for a snack that's pure Québec in a bowl. Popped in Bullseye coconut oil and kissed with real maple syrup, this easy recipe brings the sugar shack right to your movie night.

🛒 Recommended Ingredients (Available at Bullseye Popcorn):

  • Bullseye Mushroom Popcorn Kernels 10 lb
SKU: 70142 — Round, sturdy kernels, perfect for sweet glazes.
  • Yellow Coconut Popping Oil 3.785L
SKU: 70005 — 100% pure, perfect for high heat and authentic flavor.
  • Salt and Butter Popcorn Seasoning 1kg
    SKU: 70003 — A pinch enhances the sweet-salty balance.

Pure maple syrup and butter — from your pantry (choose a dark, robust maple syrup for the best flavor).

🍿 Preparation Steps:

  1. Pop the mushroom kernels in your popcorn machine with Bullseye coconut oil (see chart below). Pour into a large heat-proof bowl; remove unpopped kernels.
  2. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Warm the maple glaze: in a saucepan, melt the butter, then stir in the maple syrup and a pinch of butter-flavored seasoning salt. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Drizzle the warm maple glaze over the popcorn and toss gently until evenly coated.
  5. Spread on the baking sheet and bake 15–20 minutes, stirring once halfway, until the glaze sets and turns lightly crisp.
  6. Cool completely, break into clusters and serve. Sweet Canadian goodness!
